HUNTER – short film
I am currently in the hills of NC preparing to shoot the short film HUNTER. I am Kate, the lead. Kate is a hunter that lives in a fantasy time and place similar to our world, but slightly different. She crosses the river to the dark forest in search for food when she meets what appears to be the spirit of her dead grandmother. Today I was on set on a beach in FL to shoot the opening scene for Larry Wilmore’s Showtime special called “Race, Religion & Sex in Florida.” The meat of the show will be taped before a live audience Oct. 24 at the Florida Theatre. The comedic scene we shot today involved me and 4 others portraying Cuban immigrants arriving on a make-shift raft as Larry delivered the intro to the show. The show will air on Showtime Nov 3rd.
