Day 3 of shooting Chrysalis
By yesterday the other principal actors had arrived. Joshua Loren (Anthony) arrived the night before. Joshua Mascareñas (Michael) and Katherine Sandridge (Dani) arrived in the morning. I shot one scene between Michael and Nadia that pulled at the heart strings. Because of the rainy weather, we shot inside on the green screen. I’m still not exactly sure what will be the background. I am currently in Kingsland, FL shooting the sizzler for the feature film Chrysalis. Yesterday my call time was 5:30 AM. I had driven 6 hours from Atlanta the night before, arriving around 10 at night and promptly going to bed. It was quite chilly yesterday morning as we took a sail boat out into the Atlantic Ocean. My first scene required me to walk out onto the very front of the boat and scream out for my husband and brother-in-law who are missing all of a sudden, leaving me stranded at sea. We had just wrapped the scene and here comes the Coast Guard! We got questioned and the boat checked...

I booked my first commercial gig with my new agent here in Atlanta (Atlanta Models and Talent) and shot it this past week! It was for Hot Hands – the awesome hand warmers that keep you warm for up to 10 hours! I had a 7:00 AM call time and wrapped around 5:00 PM. Desiree Markella on Set of Navy PSA So this past week, early Monday morning, I was in Jacksonville, FL for a PSA Navy shoot. Thank you to First Coast Talent for booking me! Had a great time on set and loved working with all the crew (some old friends, some new friends) and with my fellow actors. It was great working with Matthew Mercurio and adorable (& energetic!)
